Welcome
Hey there! I’m Jeff Veillette, a sports writer and analyst from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Beginning as a middle school hobby, my participation in the hockey discourse has evolved into a career spanning over half my life. Starting from scratch as an outsider and building my way upward, I have always been determined to help others find more enjoyment and understanding in the game by passing on the lessons it teaches me along the way.
experience
I have been part of the creative mix in the digital hockey world for over seventeen years. I hopped onto social media and the blogosphere early to expand my reach and parlayed a childhood hobby into a rewarding career that has seen me create and manage successful platforms for myself and others. Over that time, my work has been featured or referenced in nearly every major hockey platform in North America and reached millions of readers.
I have also worked in hockey operations for the past six years and am currently the Assistant General Manager of the OJHL’s Markham Royals. My long-term ambition is to continue growing in this side of the game, either in a scouting or managerial capacity.
